Yeah... I realize this, but I have also been awaiting input from Science and Ops while we are in this nebula that has been indicated/promised several times over these past weeks (shoutbox, PM, Skype) but unfortunately has yet to materialize.
So... we'll just move forward with what amounts to a skeleton of an actual active crew over these past weeks or more.
Note: PC's and NPC's are always welcome to make things "happen" as well during any part of the story... especially related to their department and the given circumstances. If they are uncertain about whether their idea will fit in, they are always welcome to send me a message.

OK Question is: is there an actual plot or are we all making this up as we go along?

Yes there is... as indicated in previous discussions. This occurs after we reach our destination and send the probes out to a series of locations to take sensor readings.
Our current status was an unexpected event that occurred as a result of the overheating of systems when the QSD was activated and then deactivated earlier than we had planned... which sometimes happens when you are testing out new technology.

Cool. Because on the Star Delta 1 RP site, stories are built up as we go by everyone involved... which result in pretty chaotic things and a definite lack of Star Trek feel since these stories are essentially about nothing.

I honestly have no ideas at the moment.
Maybe the overheating affected some other key systems as well? Like maybe it took out some of the shield generators and then space pirates started to attack?
