Post Count: 74Supervizing the colonisation effort of Eden III In the Azimuth Horizon's pocket universe newly discovered, the flagship of Lotus Fleet receives a Starfleet distress call from a supply freighter barely out of the Azimuth Horizon portal. Emergency requests from Federation citizenship demands unconditional priority over any and all other mission, task or order. The situation is dire but simple... or so it seems.
Thus starts an adventure for which even the elite crew of the powerful starship Horizon might not be prepared for.

Post Count: 23The former flagship of Lotus fleet is recommissionned and refited to serve Starfleet's security needs for a fast, well equiped and available vessel to resolve the mystrious disappearance and return of the USS Diamond Star. Sister ship of the new flagship USS Horizon, the Lotus class technical testbed flew away without a crew from the shipyards of Utopia Plenitia and then was found several days later drifting in space. Although the ship and shipyard security logs were thoroughly examined, probed, checkes and tested numerous times, no one knows still who, how and especially why the vessel was taken away... and then came back all by itself.
The Lotus, one of the very few ships capable of following the trail of the transwarp prototype and with a minimal crew, is dispatched with an elite cadre of officers to bring the investigation beyond the ship and shipyards themselves.
And it will go even beyond what anyone might expect.

Post Count: 26On patrol duty along the Klingon border, the USS McKenzie receives quite unexpectedly a Starfleet distress call. It is intercepted as they near the perturbing region of the Paulson nebula, barely detectable, narrow-channeled and even heavily encrypted; as a distress signal, it simply makes no sense. All that can be deciphered from the weak, garbled, encoded message is something about an attack, heavy damage, adrift in the nebula and a name; USS First Legion, which is not registered anywhere in Starfleet records.
Still, it is a distress call and the Starfleet signal is genuine. General orders leaves no choice but to render immediate assistance, regardless of any previous orders or assignments. But right from the start, the McKenzie's small crew know they are going into more trouble than a simple rescue operation.

A Little Border Dispute
Post Count: 65The impossible has happened; from the shattered Romulan Star Empire comes a call that the Federation cannot ignore... and neither the warring remnants of the Empire. With even the centuries old Treaty of the Neutral Zone in dispute, any move out there might spark a war that neither side would be able to afford... yet which neither could avoid if things went sour.
To answer this delicate and volatile situation, a Starfleet depleted by the Borg War and stretched thin between it's vast borders cannot send a task force and a team of experienced diplomats. Even the flagship of Lotus Fleet is unavailable. But there is one ship near enough and suited well enough to attempt facing this situation: the Prometheus class USS Alsea, under the command of the newly promoted Captain Jureth Oseno, the man who succeeded initiating the current peace with the Undine in the midst of all the fireworks and tension of Operation Horizon.
With a newly selected crew, the Alsea launches, knowing the troubles they are about to face. But the question is: will they be ready for what surprises might lurk in these troubled waters?
