Basic History
| Personal History | After completing his Doctorate in medecine at the Massachussets University and graduating 4 years later from Starfleet Academy, Dr. Carter practiced as the Chief Medical Officer of the USS Nehalem in the newly established Gemini Fleet. Before the shakedown cruise the doctor was involved in solving the mysterious illness affecting the Vulcan crewmembers of the Nehalem and the newly commissionned Starbase 10 of the Elite Starfleet division of Lotus Fleet. During the Nehalem's shakedown cruise, the ship recieved heavy damage and many injuries and casualties were suffered, forcing the ship to be brought back into drydock and the surviving crew reassigned. He was on Starbase 10, awaiting transfer to the USS McKenzie until the Nehalem is fit for service, when the Romulans attacked the starbase in 2409. he was severely injured during the battle and had to be allowed medical leave on Earth where the following Borg war kept him away from the battle front. | |
