In my mind they are already separate; there is Star Trek and there is Kurtzmantrek or as I call it fake Trek.

hence why I'm not bothered by it anymore. Fake Trek will simply disappear once Star Trek is back in capable hands.

No more Spock sister. No more mushroom drive. no more Klingorcs. No more Pukehard. No more Bland Old Worlds. No more Lowbrow Drecks. Just rinse an never repeat.

I have not played Resurgance myself. It came out on consoles last year, and I noticed a sale. I was just wondering if it was worth it.

Can't say I heard much about it, either good or bad. I think it's the one where they used Nimoy's soundbites to have Spock in it giving missions and/or mission briefings.

I recently played the TOS storyline. In passing I realized I had actually never made a TOS character.

I don't know how I missed it after all these years, but I guess it just kind of slipped through and never came up.

They,re certainly not pushing the TOS setting all that much in the game these days.

But the old one with the time travel back to Kirk's era is certainly worth replaying.
